As our Clinical Governance Lead at our Shrewsbury Hospital you will provide strong clinical leadership and scrutiny of all matters relating to the Quality of all clinical care delivery. This role will work alongside Senior Clinical Leaders and key stakeholders across the organisation to facilitate clinical excellence, impact and fulfilment of Nuffield Health’s charitable purpose.
You will be a registered Clinician (NMC, HCPC or GPC) and be educated up to degree/post graduate level in a clinical discipline. You will also have the relevant qualifications in organisational governance e.g. ISO9001 Auditor or equivalent. In addition, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate senior leadership within the healthcare sector, with significant experience in clinical governance and quality assurance. You will have excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail and be able to work proactively and efficiently.

Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities. We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women's health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.
