About the role
A busy dual-executive household is seeking an experienced, reliable House Manager to keep day-to-day home life running smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in a well-run household and can manage the details of daily domestic life with discretion, consistency, and care. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working independently in a private home.
What you'll do
- Perform household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and steaming/ironing.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized home throughout, including regular cleaning of common living areas, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms.
- Plan and prepare meals, including grocery shopping and meal prep for the week ahead, accommodating household preferences and dietary needs.
- Manage household errands, including pickups, drop-offs, returns, and other day-to-day tasks as needed.
- Keep track of household supplies and proactively restock essentials.
- Maintain a consistent routine and communicate clearly with both executives regarding schedules, priorities, and any household needs.
- Handle occasional light household organization projects (closets, pantry, storage areas) as time allows.
- Handle household, family, and personal information with exceptional discretion and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a house manager, private household staff, or similar domestic role.
- Strong cooking skills with the ability to plan and prep balanced meals for a household.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, well-kept home.
- Highly reliable, punctual, and trustworthy; comfortable working independently in a private residence.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple household tasks in a day.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for errands and grocery shopping.
- Discretion and professionalism; respects the privacy of the household at all times.
- Good communication skills and a proactive, no-task-too-small attitude.
