    Job Summary

    The Global Account Manager (GAM) will be responsible for driving strategic growth and executive engagement with a portfolio of global Home Automation customers. This role will own the development and execution of account strategies that expand design wins, increase revenue, and strengthen long-term partnerships across security, smart home, energy management, building automation, and connected device applications.

    The successful candidate will coordinate global sales, engineering, marketing, and business line resources to influence customer roadmaps and position NXP solutions across MCU, MPU, Connectivity, Security, Edge AI, Power Management, and Software ecosystems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own the global account strategy for assigned Home Automation customers and drive execution across all regions.
    • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with customer decision makers, engineering leaders, product managers, sourcing teams, and business executives.
    • Identify, develop, and close new design-win opportunities that drive long-term revenue growth.
    • Coordinate worldwide resources across sales, field applications, business lines, marketing, and ecosystem partners.
    • Lead account planning, opportunity management, and strategic business reviews.
    • Influence customer technology roadmaps and align them with NXP product strategies.
    • Drive demand creation activities including architecture discussions, reference design adoption, and platform selection.
    • Monitor competitive activity and develop win strategies against semiconductor and platform competitors.
    • Maintain accurate opportunity forecasting and pipeline management within CRM tools.
    • Negotiate commercial agreements while balancing customer requirements and NXP business objectives.
    • Establish and execute multi-year growth plans for assigned accounts.
    • Serve as the executive escalation point for strategic customer issues.
    • Deliver regular business updates to executive leadership.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
    • 8+ years of semiconductor, technology, IoT, or related industry experience.
    • 5+ years of experience managing strategic or global accounts.
    • Demonstrated success growing revenue and winning complex technical sales opportunities.
    • Experience engaging executive, engineering, and procurement stakeholders.
    • Strong understanding of semiconductor sales cycles and demand creation methodologies.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to work across multiple functions and geographies.
    • Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
    • Ability to travel globally as required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
    • Experience supporting Home Automation, Smart Home, Building Automation, Security, Access Control, Energy Management, or IoT customers.
    • Knowledge of wireless technologies including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Matter, Thread, Zigbee, UWB, and cellular IoT.
    • Experience selling MCU, MPU, connectivity, security, software, or AI-enabled embedded solutions.
    • Familiarity with semiconductor distribution and ecosystem partner models.
    • Understanding of smart building and home automation market trends.
