Are you energetic, dependable, and someone who takes pride in keeping things organized? Bannister Hyundai Chilliwack is looking for a Lot Attendant to join our team!
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active throughout the day, and being part of a fast-paced dealership environment. As a Lot Attendant, you’ll play an important role in keeping our vehicle inventory organized, presentable, and ready for our customers and sales team.
What You’ll Do
As a Lot Attendant, your responsibilities will include:
- Organizing and maintaining new and used vehicle inventory on the dealership lot
- Moving and parking vehicles safely as required
- Keeping vehicle display areas clean, organized, and presentable
- Ensuring vehicles are properly lined up and ready for customer viewing
- Assisting with vehicle deliveries, dealer trades, and inventory movement
- Performing regular lot walks and helping identify missing or incorrectly located vehicles
- Installing and removing dealership plate covers and other vehicle materials as required
- Keeping showroom and display vehicles clean and presentable
- Clearing snow, debris, and other obstructions from vehicles and lot areas when required
- Assisting the Sales and Service departments with vehicle movement and other operational needs
- Performing other dealership duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles, including both automatic and manual transmission where applicable
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically able to perform an active role that involves walking, standing, bending, and moving throughout the day
- A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Previous automotive or dealership experience is an asset, but not required
