Driver

Elite Sustainability Solutions is an environmental services company based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, providing industrial waste management, wastewater treatment, transportation, and environmental remediation services. As part of the O6 Environmental family of companies, Elite partners with industrial and manufacturing clients to manage waste streams safely, responsibly, and in compliance with environmental regulations while supporting sustainable resource recovery.

Responsibilities:

•    Perform daily pre-/post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment hauled inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
•    Report any deficiencies to full-time mechanical staff for repairs
•    Comply with federal, state and local rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
•    Document and log work/rest periods, miles spent driving, retain fuel/toll receipts, incident/accident reports as necessary
•    Complete pre-printed shipping documents in an orderly manner
•    Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe, courteous manner, and interact directly with customers/staff in a customer service-oriented manner

Qualifications:
•    Valid Class A CDL driver's license
•    Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or willing to obtain both post-employment).
•    2 years of verifiable experience and at least 23 years of age
•    Safe and verifiable driving history with no significant recent violations
•    Ability to pass Company physical and alcohol/drug screenings
•    Working knowledge of federal, state and local rules and regulations
•    Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)
