At the top of the ‘Walkie Talkie’ building, Darwin is our rooftop all-day restaurant inspired by the very best of British. Laid-back but luxe, the space is inspired by nature and understated décor which allows the food – and incredible view – to do the talking!

We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sommelier to join the team at Darwin Brasserie, located on the 36th floor of London's iconic Sky Garden. This is an exciting opportunity for a wine professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through outstanding wine service and expertise.

What you'll be doing
Supporting the Head Sommelier with the day-to-day operation of the wine programme.
Delivering exceptional wine service and creating memorable experiences for every guest.
Advising guests on wine selections, pairings, vintages, and regional specialties with confidence and enthusiasm.
Maintaining wine stock, ensuring correct storage, rotation, and handling procedures are followed.
Assisting with wine tastings, staff training, and continuously enhancing product knowledge across the team.
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Sommelier within a premium restaurant, brasserie, or luxury hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of wines, wine regions, grape varietals, and food pairings.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service.
Ability to perform effectively in a busy, high-volume service environment.
WSET certification or equivalent wine qualification is advantageous.
