    Job description

Oasis Mental Health Centers is actively seeking to onboard and establish collaborative relationships with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for Part-Time and PRN opportunities located in Cherry Hill.

    Part-Time Opportunities

We are currently developing evening and weekend Spravato treatment blocks in Cherry Hill to better accommodate patients seeking care outside of traditional business hours. This role would require an initial commitment of two days per week, with flexible scheduling options including:

    • Weekday evening shifts (Monday–Friday): One 2-hour treatment block per evening

    • Saturday availability: One to two 2-hour treatment blocks

    PRN Opportunities

We are also looking to build a network of PRN Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners who are interested in short-term, as-needed coverage. This would include filling in for providers who are temporarily unavailable due to vacation, illness, or other leave.

If you are a compassionate and dedicated PMHNP interested in joining a growing mental health practice focused on patient-centered care, we would love to connect with you.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide advanced psychiatric care, including the administration and management of Spravato (esketamine) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments for individuals suffering from treatment-resistant depression and other mood disorders.

The ideal candidate is well-versed in psychiatric care, and may be experienced with ketamine or esketamine treatments, and is passionate about helping patients achieve meaningful improvements in their mental health.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Patient Assessment: For new patients, you may be tasked with conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including a review of medical and psychiatric history, to determine the appropriateness of Spravato and/or TMS treatment.
    • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized care plans, monitor treatment progress, and make adjustments as needed.
    • Administration of Spravato: Oversee and administer Spravato (esketamine) treatments, ensuring adherence to REMS (Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy) program guidelines.
    • Monitoring and Follow-Up: Closely monitor patients during treatment sessions for adverse reactions or side effects and provide follow-up care as necessary.
    • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on the risks, benefits, and expectations of Spravato therapy, as well as other therapeutic options.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
    • Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate interventions in the case of psychiatric emergencies or adverse reactions during treatment sessions.
    • Patient Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for patient needs, ensuring respectful, compassionate, and confidential care.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) with a specialization in Psychiatry.
    • Licensure: Active and unrestricted Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license in NJ.
    • Certification: Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
    • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in psychiatric care. Experience with esketamine, ketamine, or other advanced treatments for depression preferred (but not required).
    • REMS Certification: Must hold an active DEA registration within New Jersey to be eligible for REM's certification & prescribing.
    • Skills: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with treatment-resistant depression and/or mood disorders.
    • Previous experience in a Spravato or TMS clinic.
    • Knowledge of current best practices and evidence-based psychiatric treatments.
