How You Succeed

To excel in this role, you'll need to be analytical, curious, and detail-oriented. You'll work closely with stakeholders across Finance and Global Markets to analyse financial performance, support reporting requirements, and develop data-driven insights. Your ability to interpret financial information, work with large datasets, and leverage technology to improve reporting and analysis will be key to supporting informed business decisions.

What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

• Financial Performance Analysis: support the analysis of Global Markets financial performance, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet positions, Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA), valuation reserves, and cost allocation metrics
• Management Reporting: assist in preparing financial reports, dashboards, and management information to support business performance monitoring and decision-making
• Expense Monitoring: analyse monthly expenses and allocated costs, identify trends and variances, and support cost management initiatives
• Budgeting Support: assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning exercises across the Global Markets business
• Regulatory Reporting: support the preparation of regulatory submissions, including ICAAP and FSI returns, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
• Data Analytics & Visualisation: leverage Excel and business intelligence tools to analyse data, develop dashboards, and generate actionable insights
• Process Improvement: identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and enhance data management through automation and digital tools
• Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on financial analysis, reporting enhancements, and strategic initiatives as assigned

Who You Work With

The Management Information Systems team supports Global Markets by providing financial analysis, management reporting, and business insights that enable effective decision-making and performance management. You'll work alongside finance professionals and business stakeholders who oversee financial planning, reporting, and regulatory requirements across Global Markets. Through this role, you'll gain valuable exposure to how financial information is used to support business strategy and risk management within a leading financial institution.

Who You Are

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
