This is an exciting opportunity to join the Macraes Open Pit Workshop team, where you will have the opportunity to work on big specialist mining gear. Based in the stunning region of Otago, this is a residential role, meaning you can go home every evening and enjoy a great outdoors family lifestyle.
You will safely and efficiently undertake the maintenance, repairs and servicing of all mining machinery and ancillary plant/equipment across the open pit maintenance workshop as directed by the Supervisor.
At all times, display a high degree of professionalism and quality workmanship to ensure that cost effective maintenance and repairs are delivered. This role works on a 7 days on / 7 days off / 7 nights on / 7 day off roster.
