Supervisor- Process Operation

This position is responsible for supervising hourly operations technicians. The supervisor must be able to focus on safety, environmental compliance, asset protection, and production simultaneously. This is a hands-on supervisor role responsible for managing operations activities, which includes, but may not be limited to all of the gold processing facilities, tailing systems and water systems. This supervisor will interact with many different work groups and departments and must be able to work well with others.

• Actively drive HGM’s behavior-based safety and environmental stewardship culture.
• Directly supervise, support, and professionally develop process operations crew
• Collaboration with other departments when needed
• Provide training and mentoring for operators
• Develop a safe, productive, and high-performing crew while working collaboratively within the framework of the site team and company enterprise
• Conduct individual employee evaluations
• Update employee training records and status upgrades
• Establish and refine operating strategies and procedures to ensure equipment is utilized to its optimum extent
• Perform medium-user duties including: Success Factors Time entry and approval, Pronto (CMMS), work requests, warehouse requests, Support of Process “Our Safe Behaviors” program
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Proven safety record and ability to support work group in achievements of safety, environmental, and production goals required
• Minimum of five (5) years progressive process operations experience required
• Proven ability to supervise numerous employees at once required
• Ability to facilitate crew lineouts, safety meeting etc. required
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures and to hold fellow employees/contractors accountable to follow company policies and procedures required
• Experience with computer operations preferred
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position required
• Proven ability to perform essential function of the position required
• Five (5) years of responsible supervisory experience in an industrial operation is preferred.
• Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator's License preferred
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent, or higher education

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in both office and operational mining environments.
• Ability to regularly access active mining and processing areas to support operational teams, conduct site visits, investigations, coaching, and workforce engagement activities.
• Ability to walk on uneven terrain, climb stairs and access elevated work areas as required.
• Ability to wear and use mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE).
