Purpose of the Job

Build your accounting expertise while delivering high-quality financial statements, management accounts and reporting for a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll apply your technical knowledge across a range of accounting activities, working closely with experienced colleagues, clients and auditors to deliver an excellent service across multiple jurisdictions.

This role offers the opportunity to broaden your financial reporting experience while developing your review and coaching skills. You'll support junior colleagues through knowledge sharing and guidance, contribute to audit and accounting activities, and gain valuable exposure to different client structures and accounting frameworks within a collaborative global environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, management accounts and supporting accounting records in line with relevant accounting standards.
• Prepare and post bookkeeping entries to support accurate and high-quality client reporting.
• Perform bank, investment and other reconciliations across a portfolio of client entities.
• Prepare and review VAT returns, building your knowledge across client accounting and reporting activities.
• Review client deliverables and accounting records, working collaboratively with senior colleagues to maintain quality and consistency.
• Provide guidance to Junior and Assistant Accountants, sharing technical knowledge and supporting their professional development.
• Build effective relationships with auditors and support the delivery of financial statement audits.
• Maintain high-quality working papers, checklists and supporting documentation in line with established standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions to deliver a consistent and professional accounting service.
• Contribute to accounting projects and initiatives that enhance processes, team collaboration and client service.

• ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional accounting qualification, an accounting-related degree, or equivalent expertise developed through relevant accounting experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Experience preparing client accounts, financial statements and management accounts within accounting, audit or financial services.
• Knowledge of IFRS, with exposure to UK GAAP or other relevant accounting frameworks considered beneficial.
• Strong accounting, reconciliation and financial reporting skills, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, auditors and colleagues.
