Senior Fund Accountant

Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a technically strong and client-focused Senior Accountant to join our growing Fund Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of investment structures, take ownership of complex accounting and reporting deliverables, and build strong relationships with clients, auditors and advisers.

Working as a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting, supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the continued success and growth of the business.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of management accounts, financial statements and investor reporting, ensuring accuracy, quality and timely delivery.
• Manage relationships with clients, auditors and advisers, acting as a trusted point of contact for accounting and reporting matters.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies across your portfolio.
• Support the development of efficient processes, strong controls and high service standards while overseeing key fund accounting activities.
• Mentor and support junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Solid and pragmatic accounting skills and technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent presentational, written and verbal communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
