The 0020_AUXILIAR GENERAL_CG will work in the 14 GENERALES 0020 department, handling cash transactions, assisting customers, performing daily reconciliations, and maintaining computer equipment. The role requires flexibility in schedule and a proactive attitude to ensure smooth store operations and excellent service standards.
Responsibilities
- Receive, count, and deposit cash and other payment forms accurately.
- Provide courteous assistance and information to customers in person and via phone.
- Perform daily and periodic cash reconciliations and report discrepancies.
- Operate and maintain point‑of‑sale and other computer equipment.
- Prepare and file transaction reports and supporting documentation.
- Assist in inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed.
- Support opening and closing procedures, including cash drawer balancing.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales and service targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience handling cash and performing reconciliations.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in using computers, POS systems, and basic office software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; related certifications a plus.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
