As an Auxiliary General, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and functionality of our store. Additionally, you will be responsible for stock management, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Arrange and display merchandise according to company standards and visual merchandising guidelines.
- Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and organized, maintaining a neat and tidy appearance.
- Assist in receiving and unloading deliveries, checking for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and restock shelves, ensuring products are easily accessible to customers.
- Rotate stock to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage, especially in perishable goods sections.
- Monitor and report any damaged or defective merchandise to the appropriate team.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers and answering inquiries.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify and implement improvements in store operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
