The propulsion department from OHB is looking for an intern to enhance its contamination and contamination transport modelling tool called openContam. The objective of the internship is to further develop, test, and validate the software to support spacecraft contamination analyses during mission design and operations. The intern will be fully integrated into the Analysis team of the propulsion department.
openContam is a modular simulation framework used to predict molecular, contamination effects on spacecraft surfaces and sensitive payloads. The internship will focus on improving the software capabilities, implementing new functionalities, and validating the tool against analytical solutions, experimental data, and reference cases.
