Job Description Summary:
This will be a 16 hour/week position (two 8-hour shifts per week), weekend days preferred. They respond to consults needed at Marion General, Mansfield Hospital, Grady Memorial, Lewis Center FSED, Hardin Memorial, Shelby Hospital, Ashland FSED, Ontario Hospital and Morrow County Hospital.Responsibilities And Duties:

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
This position requires a current registered nurse license from the State of Ohio. Must complete a 40+ hour didactic training, perform speculum exams under the direct supervision of a physician/ NP/PA until competent and complete 3 sexual assault exams with an experienced forensic nurse either on a patient or in a simulation environment.
Must commit to being on call a minimum of 24 hours per month for their assigned area, attend 75% of monthly meetings, as well as attend continuing educational opportunities.
Must be willing to commit to providing 2 years of service as a forensic nurse after training has been completed.
