Job Description Summary:
Provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and technical direction for the enterprise network and telecommunications infrastructure supporting a large, multi-hospital healthcare system. Leads a team of network and telecommunications engineers responsible for the planning, design, implementation, project management, and lifecycle management of complex network, voice, wireless, and telecommunications solutions across 200+ ambulatory, administrative, and clinical locations, including 16 hospitals.Responsibilities And Duties:

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Expert knowledge of enterprise networking technologies including routing, switching, wireless networking, software-defined networking, telecommunications systems, voice platforms, network security, cloud connectivity, and data center networking architectures. Proven experience designing and supporting highly available, geographically dispersed healthcare networks supporting mission-critical clinical applications.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams responsible for large-scale infrastructure deployment and project delivery across multiple locations while balancing operational support, strategic initiatives, and organizational priorities. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, portfolio management, infrastructure architecture, systems integration, and technology lifecycle management.
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, cybersecurity frameworks, disaster recovery planning, business continuity practices, and operational resiliency standards. Experience developing enterprise standards, governance processes, service offerings, and operational metrics.
Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing departmental budgets, capital planning, forecasting, contract negotiations, vendor management, cost-benefit analyses, and strategic technology sourcing. Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders, clinical leadership, business partners, and technology teams.
Experience leveraging automation, orchestration, analytics, and AI technologies to improve operational efficiency, service quality, deployment consistency, and team productivity. Builds high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, talent development, succession planning, and performance management.
