The Laundry Attendant assists the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments in daily tasks in a safe and efficient manner, including but not limited to maintaining the loading, washing, drying and folding of all resort linens.

Maintain the stocked items and inventory control and making sure that the linen is ready for the housemen to pick up and take to the room attendants. The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Ojo Caliente Holdings, Inc. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sort all dirty linens and treat stains.
• Process wet, clean items and dry as directed.
• Safely maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to manager Safely maintain all laundry equipment and inform manager as to any maintenance needs.
• Assist with stripping of used linen from the guest rooms, as needed.
• Dispose of linen and terry properly.
• Operate washers and dryers properly and safely as well as ensuring that the correct chemicals (and amounts) are being used.
• Fold linens to resort standards and keep stock organized in designated places.
• Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets in accordance with resort standards.
• Assist with cleaning and up-keeping of storage areas.
• All other duties assigned.
