    Job description

    Under the direction of the Front of House Management Team, the Polisher is responsible for cleaning, polishing, and properly storing all front-of-house glassware and utensils while maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the dish area and dishwashing equipment.

    The day to day:

    • Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
    • Wash and clean all glassware, flatware, and front-of-house utensils.
    • Polish glassware and flatware to ensure they are clean and presentation-ready.
    • Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, dish carts, dish racks, and surrounding work areas.
    • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall condition of the dish area throughout the shift.
    • Assist with receiving, organizing, and stocking supplies and products as required.
    • Safely handle, use, and store cleaning products in accordance with established procedures.
    • Perform general dish area maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, organizing, and garbage removal.
    • Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures.
    • Support the Front of House team with additional cleaning and maintenance duties as required.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
    • Previous experience in a dishwasher, polishing, or similar hospitality role is considered an asset.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
    • Ability to follow direction, work effectively as part of a team, and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
    • Ability to remain standing and active for the duration of the shift.
    • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
    • This is a full time position
    • Legally authorized to work in Canada

    This is a current vacancy.

    Wage: $17.60 + shared gratuities
