Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and brake systems.
- Perform routine maintenance- oil change, transmission flushes, external engine components repair and replacement, Suspension repair, Wheel Alignment, etc.
- Troubleshoot and replace defective parts.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and fix issues.
- Maintain detailed repair records.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools.
- Knowledge of diesel engines and truck systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and quality work.
- DOT Certification preferred, but not mandatory.
- CDL certification preferred.
- Hunter Alignment Machine certification preferred.
- Hendrickson Suspension certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Considerable physical activity including continuous standing and walking of the shop floor for long durations.
- Must be able to occasionally lift or carry up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to climb, reach, bend, kneel, and stoop with no restrictions.
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which required following standard safety protocols.
- Work environment may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, cleaning products, chemicals, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
