Support revenue forecasting, business planning, and distribution partner inventory management for the Protection & Signal Division within PSG. Analyze forecast, POS, backlog, revenue, and inventory data to identify risks and opportunities, improve business predictability, and support cross-functional decision-making. Work closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Product Management, and distribution partners to align revenue expectations, inventory levels, and operational execution.
Responsibilities
Revenue Forecasting & Business Planning
- Own and maintain revenue forecasts by product, customer and region.
- Monitor market and competitive activity and identify customer needs contributing to business growth
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Management to align demand signals, revenue expectations, and supply availability.
- Ensure timely communication of changes in demand, supply constraints, customer priorities, and distribution inventory concerns.
- Support leadership decision-making through clear analysis, concise recommendations, and actionable reporting.
Business Operations & Analytics
- Facilitate regular business reviews focused on business metrics, forecast changes, revenue risks, inventory exposure, and associated action plans.
- Support pricing, margin, cost reduction, and profitability analysis as needed.
- Manage distribution partner inventory levels to support revenue goals while minimizing excess, aged, or slow-moving inventory.
- Support allocation, supply prioritization, and inventory planning decisions based on customer demand and business priorities.
- Participate in quarterly consensus forecast alignment meetings and drive closure actions for identified gaps across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in business operations, revenue forecasting, demand planning, sales operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret revenue, inventory, backlog, and forecast data.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large data sets and translate analysis into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong Excel skills with experience using PowerPoint for executive-level reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive actions across teams.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced business environment.
- Experience in the semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or distribution industry is preferred.
