About the job

As a Brand Lead, you will own the strategy, growth and execution of one or more of Opella’s leading brands in Italy. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, driving brand performance while identifying new opportunities to accelerate growth, innovation and consumer engagement.

Main responsibilities

• Define and implement the marketing strategy, brand plans and activation roadmap for assigned brands.
• Drive sustainable business growth through effective portfolio management, consumer insights and innovation initiatives.
• Lead the development and execution of integrated campaigns across media, digital and customer-facing channels.
• Own brand performance, including budget management, investment prioritization and delivery of commercial objectives.
• Monitor market trends, consumer behavior and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities and inform decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Digital, Global Marketing and external partners to deliver impactful initiatives.
• Lead and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

About you

• Proven experience of at least 8 years in marketing, building and growing consumer-facing brands within Consumer Healthcare, OTC, FMCG, beauty, dermocosmetics or related sectors.
• At least 3 years in a managerial, team leadership role, ideally as Senior Brand Manager / Brand Lead.Strong experience translating consumer and market insights into successful marketing strategies and execution plans.
• Demonstrated success leading product launches, innovation projects or portfolio expansion initiatives.
• Solid business acumen with experience managing budgets and making data-driven decisions.
• Strong leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across local, regional and global teams.
• Digital-first mindset with a good understanding of consumer engagement, media activation and modern marketing approaches.
• Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken are required.

Location: Milan

Hybrid working policy: 2 days per week remote working.

Salary range: starting base salary 62.000€
