- Perform set up and change overs of packaging lines
- Perform Preventive Maintenance of all machines in department
- Perform daily lubrication, cleaning and inspcection
- Record all work performed
- Must be flexible and able to work as needed, this includes overtime when necessary
- Must be able to work in a high speed packaging environment.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to work 48 or more hours per week.
- Must have the ability to work on ladders reaching overhead.
- Must have knowledge of the accepted practices, processes, materials, and tools of the maintenance trades.
- Must have knowledge of electric motors, generators, conveyors, and other equipment and systems.
- Must have knowledge of the servicing and maintenance of simple power, heating, and cooling units.
- Must have the knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the building and maintenance trades.
- Must have the ability to do routine mechanical and Simple electrical maintenance and care for tools and equipment.
- Must be able to work with others and support other Mechanics.
- Must have the ability to maintain records regarding material, equipment, and repairs.
- Ability to legally work in the United States is required.
- Must be able to Read and Write in English
Essential Functions:
- Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours per day.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and squat as needed for housekeeping responsibilities and other miscellaneous duties.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
Preferred Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 2 years of experience in the mechanical or electrical trades preferred.
