Senior Customer Service representative

We are looking for a Financial Analyst supporting our Lasers business unit headquartered in Rankweil, Austria with presence in other worldwide sites. In this role, you will lead key FP&A activities, including financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting, to support strategic decision-making and operational performance. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across the globe to deliver actionable insights that enhance business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings high potential in financial planning and analysis, operations finance, and business strategy, with an ability to influence stakeholders and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Because significant collaboration will be with teams based in the United States, fluency in English—both written and verbal—is essential. This role will report to the Europe Lasers Controller.

You Will Make an Impact By:

To expand the customer service of our European customer base we are now looking for an exceptional Customer Service Representative based in Romania who will:

• Autonomously process sales and service requests from initial customer contact until completion, including all documentation
• Create sales orders, RMA’s, quotes, shipments and invoices in our SAP ERP system
• Proactively monitor and update status of open sales orders and RMA’s
• Hold close contact to our service department and logistic center in Darmstadt, Germany
• Maintain supplier portals of selected customers
• Respond to all inquiries from customers, sales and other departments of MKS

Skills You Bring:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in comparable customer service roles
• A demonstrated background and proven experience in the use of ERP/MRP Systems, preferably SAP
• Advanced level in the use Microsoft Office tools
• Fluent English is mandatory for this international role. German or French language skills would be considered an advantage
• Strong customer and service orientation with a professional and solution-focused approach.
• Self-driven, organized, and accountable work style with the ability to effectively manage priorities
• High degree of flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic international business environment
