You will be joining Omise Pro, Omise’s professional services team, working on custom software delivery and digital transformation projects.
What you will be doing
We need a strong Senior Backend Engineer to act as a technical anchor and "bar raiser." You will take full ownership of features from design to deployment, proactively eliminate technical debt, and cleanly communicate risks to stakeholders.

Core Technical Profile
- Backend: Expert-level Java and Spring Boot (Node.js is a plus).
- Architecture: Deep OOP knowledge with proof of building high-concurrency, event-driven systems (CQRS, SAGA).
- Databases: Expert in relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), ACID properties, and performance tuning under heavy loads.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with at least one major platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Azure experience is a strong plus. Must understand pub-sub and message bus architectures.
- Testing: High discipline in writing robust unit and integration tests.
