Food Service Worker – Oregon State Hospital, Salem CampusJob Description:
The Food Service Worker performs a variety of food service activities in a state youth or adult institution. Service activities include setting-up condiments and panning food, food portioning, preparing food trays, serving on food lines, clearing, and cleaning dining and serving areas, putting away stock and kitchenettes, and washing dishes, pots, and pans in a volume dining or food service facility. Employees ensure the various dietary needs of clients, patients, students, and inmates are met to adhere to specific nutritional requirements and dietary needs. Employees monitor and review prescribed dietary orders. Follows portion control guidelines.
NOTE: This position is with the float pool and works varied hours from Monday through Friday.
