SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify all Bill of Lading for signatures and confirm all deliveries are made.
- Maintain all Transportation files including reports, invoices, receipts, miles and driver logs.
- Tracking all invoices billed to Transportation for accurate billing
- Review all driver time cards are accurate and driver payroll is correct
- Handle phone calls from customers, drivers, sales department and customer service concerning deliveries.
- Process C.O.D.’s
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned in an efficient, effective and cost conscious manner complying with all company policies, rules and regulations.
- Excellent attendance and reliable predictability a must
- Adheres to DC housekeeping guidelines

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma preferred
- Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety policies and practices
- Excellent attendance record
- Must be willing and able to work overtime when needed
- Excellent computer skills, including Work and Excel spreadsheets
- Good math and reading skills
- Excellent customer service internal and external
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management
- Attention to detail essential and demonstrated problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain records accurately
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred
- Previous transportation experience preferred
- Must be a team player with a can do attitude
- Power Equipment certification a plus
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Monday - Thursday 7 a.m. - 4 p.m., Friday 7 a.m. - 11 a.m.
