    Position Summary

    Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children – Orlando, Florida

    Orlando Health Children’s Heart Institute at Children's Arnold Palmer Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatric Cardiologist with advanced training in Cardiac MRI and CT to join our expanding pediatric heart program.

    Position Highlights

    • Advanced imaging-focused pediatric cardiology position
    • Dedicated time for Cardiac MRI and CT interpretation
    • Integrated with a comprehensive pediatric/congenital/ACHD heart program
    • TEE and/or Fetal experience welcomed but not required
    • Opportunity available for both experienced physicians and graduating fellows.

    Inpatient/Ambulatory Responsibilities

    • Participation in Echo Lab reading schedule
    • Limited inpatient service coverage
    • Main Ambulatory and Satellite clinic options

    Call Schedule

    • Pediatric Cardiologists share on-call responsibilities equally
    • Night call is primarily telephone consultation and occasional remote echocardiogram interpretation with inpatient rounding on weekend.

    Program Highlights

    • Comprehensive fetus-to-adult congenital heart program
    • Comprehensive congenital cardiac surgery program
    • Dedicated Cardiac ICU with 24/7 in-house cardiac intensivist coverage
    • Busy advanced interventional catheterization laboratory and EP laboratory.
    • Multidisciplinary specialty clinics and robust collaborative care model
    • Participation in national databases and collaborative research initiatives
    • New state-of-the-art Children’s Pavilion opening soon (August 2026)

    Qualifications

    • Education: M.D., D.O.
    • Leadership aspirations and interest in program development encouraged
    • Completion of an ACGME or AOA Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship
      • Additional advanced training in Cardiac MRI and CT
      • TEE proficiency preferred
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics
    • Unrestricted FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and DEA
