Radiology Technologist (PRN)

The Radiologic Technologist performs prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures, and protocols while ensuring optimal care/treatment to our patient population. This position uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures correct patient and exam identification.
• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Positions patient to achieve a high level of image quality and performs diagnostic procedures as required.
• Takes appropriate action to resolve imaging quality issues
• Is proficient in the technical operation of all diagnostic equipment; uses proper care in handling equipment.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
