Accounting Officer / Referent v računovodstvu

Join our Slovenia-based Finance team to power the smooth, precise operations of the Bragg Group’s global financial engine. In this role, you will manage accounts payable, process payments, and maintain cash flow integrity across an expanding international business. You’ll collaborate directly with internal global stakeholders, regional finance peers, and international vendors.

This is a hybrid role based at our Ljubljana office.

what you’ll do:

• Own end-to-end AP invoicing processing within the global finance infrastructure;

• Prepare and process payment journals while executing accurate, timely payments;

• Build payment plans and monitor cash flow for upcoming financial obligations;

• Manage proactive communication with external vendors and internal stakeholders regarding invoicing and payment queries;

• Reconcile supplier accounts regularly and investigate and resolve any discrepancies;

• Support month-end closing activities specifically related to accounts payable and payments;

• Maintain high accuracy in financial records and ledger entries;

• Drive the continuous optimization and automation of daily financial workflows;

• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to resolve vendor-related queries;

• Execute ad-hoc accounting tasks and financial operations support as required.

what you'll bring to the team:

• 1+ years of comparable experience in accounting or accounts payable;

• Spoken and written fluency in English with strong computer literacy (MS Office, especially Excel and Word);

• Strong communication, direct collaboration, and action-oriented problem-solving skills;

• Proficiency in leveraging Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to optimize daily workflows, streamline documentation, and enhance data-driven decision-making;

• High accuracy, reliability, responsibility, and responsiveness under global operational deadlines;

• A proactive, self-starter mindset focused on continuous process improvement;

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multicultural team environment.

nice-to-haves:

• Previous experience in an international corporate setup or fast-growing tech environment;

• Hands-on familiarity with modern ERP systems or specialized financial management software;

• Practical experience automating manual Excel or administrative accounting tasks using smart tools.
