Qualifications

- At least 2 Years experience in Solar Industry specifically for Solar Rooftop, both residential and C&I.

- Technical Engineer with experienced as Pre-Sales Engineer

- A Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) with basic knowledge and experienced in:

• PV system design and analysis
• Preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM)
• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• PV system sizing and technical calculations
• Other technical skills related to Solar PV systems

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Technical Support and System Design

• Provide technical support to the sales team and customers during the pre-sales stage of residential and C&I rooftop solar projects.
• Assess customer requirements, site conditions and energy consumption to recommend suitable solar PV solutions.
• Design and size solar PV and energy storage systems, including the required technical calculations.
• Prepare design drawings, layouts and single-line diagrams using AutoCAD, SketchUp and other design tools.

Bill of Materials and Quotation Support

• Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) using products from the OSW range.
• Coordinate with the sales and operations teams on product availability and suitable alternatives.
• Support quotations and technical proposals, including estimated savings and payback.

Standards and Compliance

• Ensure system designs and recommended products comply with applicable local codes, standards and utility requirements.
• Keep up to date with relevant government regulations and industry programmes, such as net metering.
• Prepare the technical documents required for permits and utility applications.

After-Sales Technical Support

• Assist customers and the sales team with technical inquiries, installation guidance and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with manufacturers on warranty claims and technical escalations.

Training and Product Knowledge

• Conduct technical training for the sales team and customers.
• Participate in product evaluation and testing, and stay updated on solar PV technology and new products.

Documentation and Collaboration

• Maintain accurate technical and product information in the CRM and other company systems.
• Work closely with the Country Manager and other OSW teams, and report on key technical matters.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Country Manager.
