Come join the MapMyFitness team at Outside as a QA Automation Engineer. You will own the test automation strategy for MapMyRun, MapMyWalk, MapMyRide, and our other fitness tracking applications used by millions of athletes worldwide — designing the frameworks, building the coverage, and wiring it all into our CI/CD pipelines so the team can ship confidently and often.
We are a lean, AI-augmented engineering team. We use AI coding tools as a force multiplier across development and testing, and we’re looking for someone who is energized by that way of working — not someone who wants to run a large manual QA operation. You’ll work closely with engineers, product, design, and growth marketing, and you’ll tackle testing problems most QA roles never see: GPS route simulation, GPX replay, sensor and location mocking, and real-world edge cases across iOS, Android, and web.

Entirely remote job that could be performed in Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $100,000 to $130,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away, sick leave, and more. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
