Welcome from the Principal:
Our school, affectionately known as Portland Palace, is more than a place of learning—it's a community and a second home. As Principal, I promise our students academically strong, kind, expert teachers and caring pastoral staff; they deserve nothing less than the best.
Located in the heart of Worksop, we serve a diverse and vibrant community. We are one of the most oversubscribed schools in the region, chosen by families for our strong pastoral care, high standards, and exceptional culture of learning.
Our mission places students at the centre of every decision. We are driven by the belief that our children should feel safe, loved, and seen. We are recognised nationally for both our ethos and culture and as an IQM School of Excellence.
If you're considering joining us, know that Portland is more than just a “Good” school; it’s a place where people matter, success is shared, and joy is found. We would love to welcome you to be a part of this special community.
