The HouseKeeping Crew Member Performs a variety of tasks related to custodial and cleaning services during facility use. The role will also be responsible for routine trash removal and facility cleanup. Housekeeping Crew Members will work odd or unusual hours, split shifts, or holidays in preparing for an event. The position will also perform routine custodial and minor maintenance work in the cleaning and care of the facilities.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00.

The Greensboro Coliseum Complex is a versatile multi-building facility that serves the community of Greensboro and its surrounding areas. It hosts a wide array of events, such as athletic competitions; cultural arts showcases; concerts; theater performances; educational activities; fairs; and exhibits, as well as public and private gatherings, including conventions; convocations; trade shows; and consumer shows. It plays a crucial role as a hub of community activities and significantly contributes to the regional economy.

The Complex is made up of nine venues, the largest being the renowned 22,000-seat First Horizon Coliseum, which has a storied history of hosting prestigious ACC and NCAA basketball championships and a concert history featuring legendary artists like Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, and Elvis Presley, as well as today’s biggest artists like Drake, Bad Bunny, and Taylor Swift. The Complex also includes the 167,000-square-foot Special Events Center, encompassing three exhibition halls, a 4,500-seat mini-arena, and eight meeting rooms. Additionally, there's White Oak Amphitheatre, Piedmont Hall, the Novant Health Fieldhouse, Greensboro Aquatic Center, The Terrace, ACC Hall of Champions, and the 300-seat Odeon Theatre. As one of the most actively booked facilities in the country, the Greensboro Complex annually hosts over 1,100 events. Its extraordinary flexibility and reputation have earned it worldwide acclaim among promoters, producers, event planners, and patrons alike.

• Mix and prepare cleaning products to clean the Coliseum interior and exterior, which may also include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning, and waxing floors.
• Ensures a safe environment for patrons by removing liquids and debris from walkways through the building during events.
• Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures and replenish supplies in restrooms.
• Wash windows, mirrors, walls, and countertops.
• Remove and dispose of debris from parking lots, walkways, and Coliseum facilities and empty waste receptacles.
• Perform additional staff functions for events.
• Exercise resource stewardship and report known or expected irregularities to the immediate supervisor to ensure compliance.
• Follow OSHA and in-house safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• 1-2 years of related working knowledge of building cleaning practices, methods, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to perform routine and repetitive custodial tasks without immediate supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Abilility to walk/stand the entire shift and bend/stoop as needed.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Required to successfully complete on-site CPR and bloodborne pathogen training.
