This role will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the staff canteen, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and compliant food service for employees across the venue.

What you'll be doing

• Setting up and preparing the staff canteen ahead of lunch service, ensuring the area is clean, organised, and fully stocked
• Liaising with the Operations team to ensure menus and allergen information are accurate, with correct food labels displayed alongside all dishe
• Supporting the smooth and efficient service of food to staff during lunch periods
• Monitoring stock levels and ensuring effective stock rotation, including date checking and minimising waste
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation throughout service
• Ensuring the canteen is replenished and prepared for the following service period

What we're looking for

• Good knowledge of food, allergens, and Food Safety Management procedures
• Previous experience working within a hospitality, catering, or food service environment
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence working independently while supporting a wider team
• A proactive and hands-on approach to daily operations

Good to know

Pay rate: Up to £16.80 per hour

Contract type: Casual contract.

Working pattern: Predominantly Monday to Friday, approximately 9:30am to 6:00pm, with occasional weekend working based on operational requirements.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and be committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, allergen compliance, and staff service.
