About the Role:

The Sales & Service Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation and presentation of a service facility, primarily focusing on the transportation, cleaning, and organization of vehicles and equipment. This position ensures that vehicles are moved efficiently between service bays, customer areas, and parking locations, contributing to an optimal workflow for the service team. The Sales & Service Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the service area, which enhances the overall customer experience and supports safety standards. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing facility needs, including assisting with minor maintenance tasks and supporting service technicians as needed. Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate vehicles safely in various conditions.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of vehicle handling and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Sales & Service porter or similar role within the automotive or service industry.
• Familiarity with automotive terminology and service processes.
• Ability to operate small machinery or equipment used in vehicle maintenance.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
• Certification in workplace safety or vehicle handling.

Responsibilities:

• Transport vehicles safely and efficiently between service bays, customer delivery areas, and parking lots.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including sweeping, washing vehicles, and disposing of waste properly.
• Assist service technicians and sales department by preparing vehicles for sales or service and returning completed vehicles to customers.
• Perform routine inspections of vehicles and report any noticeable issues or damages to the service manager.
• Support the sale & service team with miscellaneous tasks such as stocking supplies, organizing tools, and maintaining equipment.
