    Job description

    The Finance and Graduate Economics Department in the Lubin School of Business at Pace University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position in Finance. We welcome applications from all areas of finance, with preference given to candidates specializing in investments, empirical asset pricing, asset and wealth management, household finance, and related areas. The successful candidate will contribute to the department’s undergraduate and graduate programs through teaching, scholarship, and service.

    Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence, student engagement, and mentoring.

    Required Qualifications:

    • PhD in Finance. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
    • Demonstrated strong potential for excellence in research. Evidence may include a pipeline of high-quality working papers and/or publications in reputable journals.
    • Demonstrated ability or strong potential to teach courses in wealth management, financial planning, and related finance subjects.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to teach on both the New York City and Pleasantville campuses as departmental needs require.

    Service Expectations

    Faculty members are expected to contribute actively to the life of the department, school, and university through committee work, student engagement, curriculum development, accreditation activities, and other service initiatives. Candidates with interest and experience in leading academic programs, centers of excellence, or strategic initiatives are especially encouraged to apply.
