ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER
Job Summary:
Environment Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental strategies and policies in accordance with regulatory standards. Their primary focus is on minimizing the environmental impact of an organization’s operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans to ensure corporate sustainable development.
- Coordinate environmental inspections, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Monitor and report on environmental performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide environmental training to employees at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate environmental considerations into decision-making processes.
- Manage environmental projects, including planning, budgeting, and overseeing implementation.
- Stay up to date with environmental regulations and industry trends.
- Represent the organization in environmental matters with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and the public.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental management, or related field.
- Proven experience in environmental management, including knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Certification in environmental management (e.g., Certified Environmental Professional) is a plus.
