What You’ll Do
- Prepare delicious, nutritious meals and snacks according to menus and dietary requirements.
- Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food-safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen.
- Help with meal service and ensure food is prepared and served on time.
- Work closely with the dietary and care teams to meet residents’ needs.
- Keep a positive attitude and bring a little personality to the kitchen!
- Perform other kitchen and dietary duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cooking or food-service experience preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person.
- Dependable, responsible, and able to work as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Able to follow recipes and special dietary instructions.
- A caring attitude and respect for our residents.
- Food-handler certification, if required by state or facility regulations.
Schedule
Part-Time | Rotating Shifts
Our cooks work a rotating schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility and reliability are important.
