Senior Scheduler

PACT (Pearson Accelerator Construction Team) is a General Partnership of Alberici, Amico, Kenaidan, and Obayashi, supported by design partners Egis, Mott MacDonald, and Weston Williamson + Partners. Together, we are delivering Accelerator, a major program of Pearson LIFT (Long-term Investment in Facilities and Terminals), Toronto Pearson's infrastructure development plan. This multi-year program is designed to address immediate passenger growth demands while preparing Canada’s largest airport for the future of air travel—including critical upgrades to airfield and infrastructure, greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, modernization of Terminals 1 and 3, and the creation of a world-class passenger experience.

​SENIOR SCHEDULER - PACT

The Senior Scheduler develops, maintains, and monitors the integrated program schedule across all Accelerator Sub-Programs—Airfield Civil & Electrical, Interim Infrastructure, GHG Reduction Projects, and Priority Projects. This role ensures schedule accuracy, identifies risks and opportunities, and supports informed decision-making across PACT’s governance structure. Working closely with design teams, construction delivery, PMO functions, and Sub-Program Leads, the Senior Scheduler supports the development phase, target price build-up, and execution readiness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, update, and manage detailed Sub-Program schedules and the fully integrated master program schedule using Primavera P6.
• Coordinate schedule inputs from design, engineering, construction, commercial, procurement, and PMO stakeholders.
• Analyze schedule logic, sequencing, critical path, float usage, and potential opportunities for acceleration or optimization.
• Produce weekly and monthly schedule dashboards, progress reporting, lookaheads, and variance analyses for PACT governance forums (Management Teams, Senior Leadership, EXCO).
• Support schedule risk identification, quantitative/qualitative schedule risk assessments, and integration with cost and risk working groups.
• Validate subcontractor and consultant schedules, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and PACT-level milestones.
• Monitor progress against design and construction deliverables and escalate issues following PACT’s decision-making and escalation regimes.
• Provide input to construction means and methods, work sequencing, and staging strategies to support safe and efficient delivery in a live airside environment.
• Participate in design coordination, technical working groups, and constructability reviews to ensure schedule impacts are understood early.
• Support development of the Target Price schedule basis, assumptions, and schedule narratives.
• Ensure compliance with GTAA scheduling standards, PDBA requirements, and internal schedule governance.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of experience in scheduling for major infrastructure, aviation, civil, transit, or industrial projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6; strong understanding of WBS development and schedule architecture.
• Experience supporting progressive design-build, CMAR, or complex multi-stakeholder project delivery models.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret schedule data and provide actionable insights.
• Experience coordinating schedules across multiple Sub-Programs or major work fronts.
• Understanding of construction sequencing, temporary works, logistics, and constraints in live operational environments (aviation experience an asset).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present schedule findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and parent-company stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The position will be based at Toronto Pearson International Airport, with full-time onsite presence required. This position is 5 days per week with core hours of work between approximately 8:00am–5:00pm with 1 hour lunch or as agreed upon with your manager.
