This Opportunity: 

Palladium is seeing a Director, Supply Chain Management to serve as a senior technical, delivery, and growth leader for Palladium's supply chain management portfolio. The Director will position Palladium as a preferred supply chain partner to governments, donors, and other public and private-sector clients. The Director will lead technical strategy, solution design, and quality assurance, translating client priorities into practical operating models. The Director will work collaborative across Palladium to deliver integrated solutions and to grow supply chain management activities through capture, proposal leadership, and partnership development.

Location:

The position will be based remotely in the United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US and the precise location is flexible, subject to Palladium's registered employment locations and business needs.

Compensation:

The annual base salary for this position is expected to range from $185,000 to $200,000. Please be advised that a final salary offer will be based on various factors, including but not limited to your qualifications, education, experience, skills, seniority, performance, and Palladium’s business or organizational needs.

Reporting and Supervision:

• The Director, Supply Chain Management will report to a member of the Americas’ Senior Leadership Team
• This role will not have supervisory responsibilities to start but eventually will as the team evolves

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Provide senior technical leadership across the breadth of Palladium's supply chain management initiatives.
• Translate donor, government, and commercial client priorities into practical technical models and solutions.
• Provide technical quality assurance for proposals, concept notes, project designs, technical deliverables, and other client-facing materials.
• Ensure compliance with donor and client requirements and applicable regulations.
• Support country and project teams to mobilize rapidly, resolve supply chain and functional disruptions, and adapt operations in real time.
• Develop and maintain a supply chain management strategy that aligns Palladium capabilities with the priorities of U.S. Government and other clients.
• Identify priority countries, regional platforms, technical niches, and delivery models where Palladium can deliver high-value supply chain support.
• Build and manage relationships with public and private stakeholders in priority countries.
• Build Palladium's internal supply chain community of practice and develop thought leadership that strengthens Palladium's market visibility.
• Lead and support capture, pipeline development, client engagement, and proposal strategy for supply chain opportunities with diverse clients and donors.
• Serve as capture lead, solution architect, technical director, or lead writer for expressions of interest, concept notes, proposals, oral presentations, and unsolicited concepts.
• Develop commercially compelling supply chain offerings that integrate Palladium's implementation, procurement, logistics, digital, financing, and governance capabilities.
• Identify and cultivate teaming partners, key personnel candidates, local organizations, suppliers, and technical experts for priority bids and country opportunities.
• Contribute to cost strategy and pricing for supply chain scopes, in coordination with pricing and contracts colleagues.
• Contribute to annual business planning, pipeline reviews, investment decisions, market analysis, and go/no-go decisions for supply chain opportunities.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Criteria:

• At least 12 years of senior-level experience (including 5+ years in a leadership role) designing, leading, or providing senior technical direction for international supply chain, procurement, or logistics programs, including work in low- and middle-income countries.
• Proven track record leading successful business development, capture, proposal writing, technical design, and partnership development for donor-funded and commercial programs.
• Ability to translate technical and operational concepts into persuasive client-facing materials.
• Experience working with ministries, national supply agencies, donors, private sector firms, and local organizations, or otherwise constrained operating environments.
• Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and influence multidisciplinary and remote teams across organizational, sectoral, geographic, and time-zone boundaries.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to brief senior clients, facilitate technical discussions, and represent Palladium externally.
• Sound judgment and integrity in high-value procurement and logistics decisions, with a demonstrated commitment to transparency, anti-corruption, and commodity security.
• Willingness and ability to travel periodically to Washington, D.C. and internationally as required.
