THE JOB:

As a Cook for The Library at Park MGM, you will be responsible for skillfully executing culinary techniques and crafting exceptional dishes that set the stage for an unforgettable, intimate dining experience. Working collaboratively with your culinary and service team, you will uphold our highest standards of food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and presentation to ensure every plate delights our guests and creates lasting WOW memories in our stylish, non-smoking retreat.
THE STARTING RATE: $26.6044 USD Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques

• Identify and safely use kitchen equipment

• Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service

• Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation

• Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation

• Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service

• Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups

• Work as a team, assist all guests needs and inquiries

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• 3+ Years of Prior Relevant experience as a Cook in a fine dining restaurant preferred

• Previous experience cooking in high-volume environments preferred
