    About the Global Innovation Team

At Pernod Ricard, innovation is at the heart of value creation, driven by a dedicated global organization. Working at the intersection of strategy, consumer insights and brand development, the Global Innovation Team identifies growth opportunities, develops consumer-centric innovations at scale across the Group’s portfolio and accelerates growth in strategic and emerging categories.

Within the team, the Non-Alcoholic Beverages division leads the development of Pernod Ricard's non-alcoholic spirits portfolio, helping drive the Group's ambitions in one of the fastest-growing beverage categories globally.

We are looking for a curious & analytical intern to join the Global Non-Alcoholics Innovation team at Pernod Ricard HQ in Paris. The role is suited to someone who enjoys turning data, market signals and consumer insights into clear business recommendations and strong presentations.

As Global Innovation & Business Analyst Intern, you will support the team across three concrete workstreams: category and business analysis, innovation project delivery, and knowledge building for the non-alcoholic spirits portfolio.

You will work on live strategic projects across priority markets including the UK, Germany, Spain, France and the US.

    Key Responsibilities

    Category Analysis & Business Intelligence

    • Report & analyze Nielsen, IWSR, and internal data to identify category performance drivers, market opportunities and risks.
    • Track global non-alcoholic spirits and adjacent beverage trends, including competitor launches, pricing, formats, claims and route-to-market choices.
    • Support local market strategy work by sizing opportunities, benchmarking competitors and translating analysis into practical recommendations.
    • Build clear Excel analyses and executive-ready PowerPoint slides

    Innovation Project Management

    • Support Non-Alc innovation projects through the internal NPD process, from opportunity framing to launch readiness (business case inputs, competitive benchmarks, tasting summaries and decision documents)
    • Contribute to consumer learning plans, concept tests and analysis of results to define clear implications for product development.
    • Coordinate tastings, sample shipments and stakeholder feedback collection.
    • Track launch performance, consolidate learnings, and identify improvements for future non-alcoholic innovations.

    Knowledge Building & Strategic Framing

    • Prepare monthly competitive and trend updates covering non-alcoholic spirits and adjacent categories.
    • Maintain internal FAQ decks, market trackers, competitor benchmarks and project resources used by the global team.
    • Run focused deep dives on emerging brands, consumption occasions, consumer needs, ingredients, formats and pricing models.
    • Organize category tastings to help the team assess products, claims, liquid quality and consumer relevance.

    Profile :

    • Master’s student in business school, engineering school or university
    • Previous experience in business analysis, consulting, FMCG, category management, market research, or strategy
    • Strong analytical skills: comfortable working with numbers, building structured analyses and turning findings into clear recommendations
    • Strong interest in innovation, beverages, consumer trends and moderation
    • Knowledge of Nielsen, IWSR or similar databases is a plus
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to build clean analyses and concise slides
    • Structured, reliable and proactive, with the ability to manage several workstreams
    • Fluent in English (French is a plus)
