From Persán, a leading multinational and family company in Europe in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of home care and personal care products, with 85 years working for a cleaner world, we are looking for you to join our Team, as

R&D Packaging Specialist

Main responsibilities:

• Interface with marketing and purchasing departments to understand brief and product needs.
• Interface with suppliers and third parties to define product characteristics and specifications.
• Scout and propose innovative packaging solutions, evaluating their technical feasibility & sustainability.
• Manage material testing and validate new packaging materials.
• Support the packaging implementation according to internal processes until first productions.
• Improve sustainability rate of current packaging portfolio.
• Support the creation of the NPD development process, from brief to production.
• Develop new primary and secondary packaging, as required from time to time by project briefs

Academic Background:

• Engineering Degree: Packaging Technology, Material Science/Engineering, or equivalent University Engineering Degree.
• At least 2 years experience in the field of packaging development or production.
• experience in a GFMC is a plus
• Language skills: Spanish and English minimum solid B2, preferentially C1.

Soft Skills:

• Communication skills, analytic skills, ability to work in teams, active listening ability, ability to work under pressure, results oriented, capacity of innovation, problem solving ability
