Base Operative

We currently have a vacancy for a Base Operative to support operations at our Altens facility.
Duties will include but not limited to goods receipt, picking/packing, loading and discharging trailers and containers, checking materials and maintaining yard and warehouse cleanliness. Applicants will have experience of operating a forklift up to 12 tonne, although not essential and working in a similar role. Banksman/Slinger certificate is also highly desirable.
The successful candidate will have to demonstrate good communication skills, have a strong focus on customer satisfaction, the ability to promote good team working and demonstrate an excellent awareness of health and safety. They should also be able to work in an environment with tight deadlines and be able to organise and prioritise competing demands with ease.
It would be advantageous to hold RTITB forklift certificates.
