    • Assist the provider during examinations and procedures

    • Administer medications and vaccines in accordance with state guidelines and clinic protocols

    • Manage patient flow, room turnover, and ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready

    • Coordinate referrals, follow-ups, and patient communications

    • Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient check-in/check-out

    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system

    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and clinic policies

    • Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies

    • Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position, including prolonged standing, walking, occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, and assisting with patient care in a clinical environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required

    • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

    • Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred

    • Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience in a primary care or outpatient setting preferred

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment

    • Comfortable working in a rural healthcare setting with a high degree of autonomy

    • BLS Certified

    Compensation and Benefits
    • Competitive compensation based on experience
    • Health, dental, and vision benefits
    • Paid time off and holidays
    • Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding healthcare organization
