Audio Engineer (Live Event/ Broadcast)

Requirements

First Degree in an Audio. Multimedia related Field

Minimum 5 years’ Experience working on Events and or Live Production

Professional and strong work ethic, Team Player 

Ability to work weekends and flexible work hours

Experience with Digital Audio Consoles, RTS Intercoms & Dante Networking

Requisite Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Suite 

Driver’s License

Core Responsibilities

Install and operating Audio equipment for events

Mixing Live shows for Event or Broadcast which include Bands

Collaborate with other technical and creative staff, such as directors, producers and stage managers, to ensure the successful execution of the A/V design

Troubleshooting technical issues and making necessary minor repairs to equipment

Setting up and breaking down equipment before and after events

Adhere to industry safety standards and regulations

Interacting with clients to understand their needs and requirements for events

Attend Site Visits

Create packing lists for jobs

Take images of event executions for archival and social media activities

Maintaining and updating equipment inventory

Ensuring that equipment is stored in an orderly fashion, cleaned and transported safely

Driving company vehicles (van & small truck) to support the company’s operations

Ensuring you have a valid driver’s license to operate the company vehicles

Staying current with industry advancements and incorporating new technologies into your workflow

Making suggestions to management for improved processes and inventory

Collaborating with event coordinators, producers and other members of the production team

Prepare Reports

Being professional and respectful to other team members and clients
