WHAT TO EXPECT:
Step into the role of Strategy Director, the single senior lead across a global portfolio of three apps for one of Phiture's most significant accounts. You'll hold the whole account in your head: what's happening across every app, where the priorities sit, and what Phiture recommends when the picture is murky. Specialists across our disciplines will route their work through you, and you'll decide when to bring their depth directly into the room. You'll own the relationship end to end, from the question that lands on your desk to the recommendation that closes it out.
This is a senior strategic seat for someone who's comfortable making the call, defending it, and owning what happens next.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN:
- Set the direction. Own one coherent set of growth priorities across all three apps, so the work connects instead of running in parallel.
- Make the call. When data is ambiguous or teams disagree, produce a clear Phiture recommendation and stand behind it.
- Translate the technical. Turn specialist work into concise, decision-ready communication that a busy executive can act on immediately.
- Guard the quality. Take responsibility for everything that reaches the client, including whether the narrative holds together across workstreams.
- Resolve the hard things. Carry cross-app and cross-discipline questions, risks, and escalations all the way through to a clear resolution.
- Stay ahead of the account. Spot opportunities, dependencies, and upcoming decisions before the client raises them.
- Coordinate the team behind you. Absorb incoming questions, pull the right specialists together internally, and come back with a consolidated answer.
- Lead the big moments. Run strategic planning, executive updates, business reviews, and the sensitive conversations that need a senior voice.
- Be the relationship. Stay close enough to the work and the client stakeholders that nobody has to give you context twice.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Substantial experience owning senior client relationships at portfolio or account level, in a consultancy, agency, or in-house growth environment.
- A track record of setting growth strategy across several apps or products at once.
- Enough depth in mobile growth to challenge specialists, pressure-test their recommendations, and judge when their input is genuinely needed in front of a client.
- Experience leading executive-level conversations: strategic planning, business reviews, escalations, and the conversations nobody enjoys having.
- The judgement to make a firm recommendation when the data is incomplete and the room is split, and the credibility to have it land.
- A talent for compressing complex specialist work into something an executive can decide on in minutes, in writing and in the room.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with how ASO, UA, CRM, and analytics workstreams interact and compete for the same roadmap space.
- Experience contributing to pitches or RFPs.
