About The Role
We are looking for a Creative Strategist dedicated to our YouTube channels. You are the creative brain who determines what we actually build before a single camera rolls. Your job is to take complex financial topics, market trends, and platform data, then turn them into high-performing video concepts, hooks, and content formats. You operate with a channel specialist mindset, understanding YouTube packaging, audience retention mechanics, and narrative pacing better than anyone else.
Focus Area 1: Format Development & Strategy
Topic Selection: Research trending financial conversations, platform algorithms, and audience demand to select high-potential video angles.
Format Ownership: Design and test distinct video formats, determining whether a subject works best as a deep-dive breakdown, a story-driven narrative, or a visual experiment.
Hook & Packaging Strategy: Define the title, thumbnail concept, and first 30 seconds of every video before writing begins, ensuring high click-through rates and early retention.
Feedback Loops: Analyze video retention graphs and engagement metrics alongside performance data to double down on winning concepts and drop what fails.
Focus Area 2: Narrative & Concept Frameworks
Concept Outlining: Write core narrative structures, detailed concept briefs, and key story beats for scriptwriters and production teams.
Platform Logic: Apply platform psychology to every video structure, ensuring complex financial topics remain clear, engaging, and simple for the viewer.
Speed to Execution: Identify breaking financial trends and translate them into ready-to-produce video concepts within hours.
What We Are Looking For
YouTube Platform Mastery: Deep understanding of YouTube mechanics, retention dynamics, packaging, and thumbnail design principles.
Analytical Creativity: Ability to look at audience retention drop-offs and CTR data, translating raw numbers into creative fixes.
Finance / Market Interest: Strong curiosity about markets, personal finance, trading, or economics, with an instinct for what retail audiences care about.
Mindset To Succeed
High Agency: You treat the channel like your own product, proactively finding content gaps and filling them without waiting for briefs.
Comfort with Ambiguity: You adapt quickly when platform trends shift, moving seamlessly between different formats and angles.
Idea Engine: You generate a high volume of strong concepts consistently, with no friction around killing ideas that do not perform.
