Job Objective: We are looking for HRBP for the Tech organization at PhonePe. The role will develop and execute on the HR strategy for the function by partnering closely with the engineering leadership team.

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

• Be on top of hiring needs in your ownership areas.

• Collaborate with talent acquisition partner to ensure right manning and onboarding of new hire talent

• Designs structured onboarding frameworks to accelerate time-to-productivity for new hires and build early organizational engagement.

Talent Management:

• Oversee the performance management process including goal setting, regular touch bases and final evaluation as per the decided timelines

• Enable the talent process by holistic review of talent in the team for creating a strong succession planning bench

• Facilitate discussions of low performers with their managers and ensure creation of performance improvement plan; Track achievement and take appropriate action in case of no visible increase in performance level

• Partner to design IDPs and conduct talent reviews regularly with HOEs/EMs

• Drive organization health & manager connect surveys, as and when conducted, and ensure maximum coverage and deep analysis for your respective areas. Own action plans and ensure adherence and improvement

• Establishes clear career ladders, competency models, and targeted managerial training to equip managers with coaching, feedback, and execution skills.

Business Partnering:

• Partner with HOEs/EMs to deliver on functional goals by providing HR solutions

• Expected to proactively identify opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness

• Maintain strong individual connect and regular touch points with all employees from the assigned business groups

• Solve for attrition by doing attrition analysis and taking corrective action

• Own and interpret HR policy for the organization and resolve issues quickly and effectively. Address all employee queries and provide help/ support within decided timelines

• Partner internally with the COE teams for efficient people process roll outs contextualised to tech

• Review org structures, redefines roles and workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and efficiencies

Capabilities & Requirements:

• MBA - HR from Tier 1 campus with proven working experience of 4+ years in business partnering

• Exposure to fast paced start up environment is an added advantage.

• Strong business acumen & understanding of the business

• Drive for result, able to demonstrate/quantify success relative to established targets and metrics

• Strong bias for impact, analytical and problem solving skills
